Private: Which is/are your favorite travel search engines or booking websites and why?

The most common ones in the US are Kayak, Farecast/Bing Travel, Travelocity, Expedia, Orbitz, and a couple of others.

However we know that the smart traveler always use a combination of websites to find the best deal – what other search engines / booking websites are your favorite ones? and why?

Or maybe you know of a local website that can find deals for trips to Asia, or another where you can book trains in Europe, or hotels in Africa.
